When all those dirty e-mails between South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford and his Argentinean boo were floating around, was anyone else reminded of James Joyce?

Artist Kate Beaton has just released her first book, Never Learn Anything From History. Sometimes I have to google historical figures to get the joke because I’m not a history buff, but it’s always worth it. Please do not google James Joyce, though. That is the exact face you will make.

P.S. Kate Beaton also made my favorite thing on earth, the “Reading Is Crazy” t-shirt.
